Tales of Tears and Blood . . . . . .
Mr Tsebi, an Escravos community leader in the oil-rich Niger Delta was apprehended and severely tortured by some youths from his own community. As part of the torture he was made to eat bread soaked in his own blood, but he managed to survive to tell his story. The epileptic judicial system could not do anything and the corrupt Nigerian Police did not help matters either. Shortly after Mr Tsebi's ordeal, the same group of youths meted out a similar treatment to the Chairman of the Escravos Community Trust Mr. Metseagharun but he did not live to tell his story as he died in the hands of his kinsmen. Mr Metseagharun was a highly respected retired top civil servant reputed for his honesty and selfless service. These stories like that of Ken Saro-wiwa, the playwright and environmental activist, are some of the hundreds of tales of tears, blood and environmental degradation.

WHY ARE THESE YOUTHS CARRYING OUT CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY?

The answer is simple, they are sponsored! They think that by killing their own kinsmen, they would eventually profit themselves in monetary terms.

WHO SPONSORS THESE YOUTHS ? IS IT THE GOVERNMENT?

NO, but the oil companies do! Unbelievable as this may sound, the records of confessional statements and documentary evidence of payments made by Chevron Nigeria limited are available for everyone to see! Chevron Nigeria Limited astonishingly continues to associate with known criminals who are facing criminal charges for Theft and murder! Interestingly, the Niger Delta is a place where the prosecution of a case of theft could not be sorted in five years, leaving the accused persons ( who have confessed to sharing the loot with staff of Chevron Nigeria limited) to continue their criminal acts by committing murder and torturing people.
